BMI KOREA continues to build research infrastructure with continuous investment aimed at globalizing its R&D capabilities, to keep its capabilities focused on the development of products such as new drugs, biopharmaceutical drugs, and drug delivery systems (DDS) through strategic partnership with world-class pharmaceutical companies and research institutes, and to promote the development of innovative pharmaceutical drugs.

The 1st Research Center conducts research on protein drugs by using biotechnology and accumulating platform technology for the discovery and development of new drug candidates and develops global innovative new drugs through open collaboration with experts and companies from a wide range of different fields. The company also strives to reinforce its research capabilities and improve research productivity through the growth of key people of talent.

The 2nd Research Center is focused on the localization of high value-added and outstanding pharmaceutical drugs and research on process improvement for existing pharmaceutical drugs. It also conducts research on various formulations and develops optimal analysis methods for pharmaceutical drugs. In addition, it conducts research on the biological toxicity and efficacy necessary for non-clinical or clinical trials.
